Although he didn’t know it then, Zachary Buckeye’s future was destined to start in his mother’s kitchen. A civil engineer by day and passionate baker by night, Zach began experimenting with his mom’s brownie recipe while training for bodybuilding shows, where post-competition sweets became his guilty pleasure. What started as midnight baking sessions soon turned into people offering to pay for his creations. In 2019, he left his engineering job to launch Buckeye Brownies, building on his discipline from bodybuilding and problem-solving mindset from engineering.
