¡How it all started! During a Catalan course in Barcelona, Britta met her friend Laura, a native Colombian with US citizenship who lives in Panama and whose uncle grows chillies in Ecuador. Sounds confusing, but it has already led to many wonderful encounters all over the world. Because both failed due to the Catalan certificate. But Laura managed to ignite Britta for the world of chillies. And that paved the way out of the airline industry to chili sauce. ¡Hola favorite salsa! Our salsas are based on hand-picked, exclusive chili varieties that are grown on the slopes of the Andes in Ecuador and Peru using gentle agriculture. Near Cologne, we combine them with exotic ingredients to create uniquely fruity sauces. With María La Salsa sauces, we started a journey through the world of chillies. There is a lot to discover.
