Kelly Elliott, Head Lady of Francine and Georgia does all of the writing, illustration and design. Lover of all things bright, bold and creative. This little paper goods brand came alive because of a few different reasons. It’s always been my goal to have my own retail brand and get to design for myself while making a living doing so (okay, that makes it sound like a piece of white cake with white frosting. Not always the case but still a hella good gig even on days when it’s not a cake walk). My design and personal goals really aligned as I watched both of my grandma’s, Francine and Georgia, battle terrible cancers which ultimately stole them from me. My grams were my jams! As I was doodling possible boutique names one evening I paired the two together. It stuck immediately and has helped encourage me to live the happy, big life I’ve always dreamed of thanks in a large part to both of them. You’ll find a lot of snark, a lot of feisty, a few sharp tongued words and laughs in my printed work. I hope to leave my customers with happiness, a lighter heart and a lot of laughs.
