Our founder, Otari Kobalia came to Canada in 1996 with his family, after immigrating from Georgia. He was a University Math teacher in his home country and while awaiting the return of his educational papers from the Canadian Evaluation Board, he started working in the baking industry. As a vegetarian since 1980, Otari had learned to source his energy from superfoods and developed a palate for a wholesome diet. Otari opened GluteNull in 2011, more than 10 years after working in the baking industry. His focus and passion shifted to creating gluten free choices that are healthy, while still being delicious. He decided to open a gluten free facility and concentrate on quality products that will bring enjoyment and liberty to the constrains of a gluten free diet. Although the emphasis of Glutenull is on gluten-free and vegan production, it is so much more than that and at the same time, so much simpler. It is just ‘good food’ – natural, nourishing and delicious. We never use preservatives or additives and only use ingredients you know. GluteNull Bakery is a certified gluten-free bakery located in Port Coquitlam, BC. We have been serving Canadians nutritious and delicious treats since 2011! Our core cause is our slogan - "Food and Lifestyle". We do our best to leave as little impact as possible on mother earth, sourcing only plant-based, non-GMO, and when possible organic and local ingredients, while living a healthy, compassionate lifestyle both with body and mind.
