In Dec. of 2015 I left my office job to pursue a dream of using my creativity, being my own boss and working in my own time. Acrylic paints were my first love, I’ve used that love to evolve into a style of colorful, energetic contemporary impressionist paintings. I love using color to tell a story. It is my believe we all have a choice…..to choose joy & seek happiness. I truly believe that light shines even in our darkest days if we reach for it - even if only by a thread. You will see pieces of that darkness that is part of the experiences that mold us. It is spoken in deep, moody tones. In the good times it’s subtle, in the times I find myself wrestling the canvas becomes darker. The prevailing message, however, is one of hope and light. It comes out in my work in bursts of energy with bright, energetic, textured color speaking of truth and hope. Light prevails. I choose my color palette carefully, frequently reaching for tones speak of love, friendship, cheerfulness, tranquility and uplifting hues with bold confidence. Read their story
