Céline Labaune, Founder and Owner of Gourmet Attitude Truffles did not stumble upon truffles by chance. Céline was raised in the French Basque Country - with her family originating in Périgord Noir, the home of the praised Black Winter Truffle. Some of Céline’s fondest childhood memories are of the time she spent at her grandparents’ home in Périgord, walking with her dog over the roots of her grandparents’ trees while the truffles growing beneath them. When Céline was 24, she moved to New York City to complete her MBA. After spending a few years in New York, Celine developed a desire to pass on what had been shared with her as a child in France. And so, in 2003, Gourmet Attitude was born. What better way to satisfy her passion than with the flagship product of the land of her childhood? Over the years, Celine has greatly enjoyed sharing with the American gourmet market her interest in this delicacy with the mystery and legends the surround truffles. Voila!
