“The whole world is connected through patterns. Understanding the meaning of a pattern and how it works makes us see how everything is part of this huge and interconnecting web. It helps us to establish a bond with our world based on harmony and creates a more emotional and spiritual link with nature. I have aimed to capture this in my series of hand drawn animal illustrations.” Julia Kisselmann, Berlin illustrator. Julia Kisselmann is an illustrator and artist currently living in Berlin. Julia graduated from the University of Bedfordshire with a BA (hons) degree in Illustration. Whilst studying there, she started to develop her own illustration style that is mainly based on hand drawn techniques and patterns. Her nature inspired images are highly detailed and explore fluidity, shapes and movement in the environment.
