Cécile Jeffrey is a minority owned, female led, luxury sustainable knitwear brand based in the UK, in South London. Established by Cécile in 1982, from a stall in Camden Market, the brand went on to sell to stores in the UK, USA, Canada, Japan, Germany and Australia. But... plans are derailed by life...unable to give the business her full attention it was put into suspended animation in 2014. Cécile decided that if it could not be done well it should not be done at all. 2019; her daughters, having grown up wearing vintage Cécile Jeffrey, had followed her into the fashion industry. It was no surprise that before long the decision was made to relaunch the brand: a mother and her two daughters working together on a family business. Never trend driven, with timeless yet contemporary knits we have always pursued sustainabilty. We work with natural, biodegradable fibers to produce well made pieces to be worn for more than just one season. Manufactured in the UK.
