Chaos & Harmony’s creative director Rebecca Anderson and her husband sold everything they owned, including their house, and moved to Italy over 12 years ago, so Rebecca could learn to design shoes at the Instituo Europeo di Design in Rome. She was taught by tutors who’d worked at Valentino and Fendi, among others, and learned how to infuse her lifelong love of texture, materials and leathers into comfortable, high-quality, hand-made shoes. Based in New Zealand, Chaos & Harmony creates two popular ranges, sold Internationally: MAINLINE FASHION COLLECTION - Understated luxury, created with care and worn with effortless confidence, everyday. THE BRIDAL BOUTIQUE COLLECTION - Includes contemporary and sleek designs for the modern bride to add to her wedding dress style. DESIGN Our intentional design philosophy is that Chaos & Harmony shoes are created to be distinctly designed classic pieces you will have in your wardrobe for years to come. We strive to create collections that stand out and have an inspired point of view but also will stand the test of time. With basic up-keep you will be able to have your shoes for many seasons. MATERIALS Our considered choices are based around classic styling but are also evolving as we research better options, not only for the environment but also materials that are good for your feet.
