Master Roycroft Artisan Julie Leidel specializes in creating original artwork inspired by the Art Nouveau and Arts & Crafts Movements (1880-1920). Working in acrylic, gouache and enamel, Julie evokes a feeling of yesteryear in her work. She incorporates the written word into many of her paintings with positive messages of connection and uplift. Her attention to color, shape, and line bring a bold and stylized connection to the natural landscapes she paints. Julie has created two distinct art collections. Her Colorado Series includes over 105 paintings of our Colorado mountains, universities, ski resorts, towns, and attractions in the WPA style, while her Arts & Crafts/Art Nouveau Series features over 85 paintings meant to connect with the heart.
