About Stoats & Weasels

Hello, I’m Lisa Bamford, the founder of Stoats & Weasels, an independent greeting card brand. I’m a professional graphic designer living by the seaside in Brighton, UK and all the cheerful designs you see here are created by me. I'm proud to be flying the flag for solo women brands, and for those in middle age too! My range of styles are all tied to together with my love of bright colours and my never-grow-old sense of humour. There are humorous pun cards, bold typographic designs, declarations of love, a touch of cheekiness, a smidge of motivation, funny animals, and clever graphic designs. Some of my favourite things: • Beige food. And cheese. • Internet watching racoons eating grapes. Or beavers eating lettuce. • Silly noises. Any silly noise will do. And I often snort at some of my own. Yep. I'm proud to be a Henries, Louies and Top Drawer Spotlight awards finalist. I’m thrilled that my cards are loved and trusted by fab indies in the UK, and cool high street stores (Waterstones, Oliver Bonas, and Scribbler). All my cards are printed in the UK by a specialist greeting card printer, in an eco-friendly factory using fully recyclable materials. My cards are printed on premium recycled board and are supplied with a signature yellow envelope. Thank you for supporting my small business, I appreciate every order.
