Body wash bars are making a comeback! The HARP difference is we are 100% saponified oil (soap) FREE which allows for a pH-balanced (5.0 to 6.0) exceptionally gentle cleanser with tons of lather. HARP bars are naturally derived 100% Syndet cleansers. Syndets are most often recommended by dermatologists for those with sensitive skin or for people that just love the bar format without the typical drying effects. Our customers also understand that constantly stripping away your moisture barrier with harsh "soaps" contributes to dry skin and the premature appearance of aging. HARP bars are the same ingredients you would typically find in a high quality liquid face wash, but in bar form for your whole body. Our pH-balanced bars allow your skin to retain its natural moisture barrier. This can only be done with Syndet bars because the process to make a syndet bar doesn't require the use of Lye. Typical bar format products use a process called saponification and that process requires the use of Lye, which brings the pH through the roof and strips away at the natural pH balance of the skin.
