Our Story Blue Lilac started with a diagnosis that affects over 10% of women worldwide—endometriosis. This condition changed my life, and my skin turning it from radiant to highly sensitive and reactive to most traditional products. While I followed my treatment plan involving various surgeries, I wanted to take control of my health starting with what affected my confidence the most: my skin. So, I researched skincare ingredients and their effects on overall well-being, some ranged from questionable and irritating, and others were proven to have detrimental effects on long-term health. I stripped my routine down to the essentials, seeking gentler, more natural options. Then, something miraculous happened: I became pregnant! After the delivery, the hospital sent us home with a well-intentioned care package, including a lotion. But, after flipping the bottle and reading through its ingredients, I recognized many red flag ingredients that came up during my research. I didn’t feel comfortable using them on my newborn’s delicate skin. So, I decided to create my own skincare. I became a certified cosmetic formulator and developed Blue Lilac’s first product: a nourishing Body Butter made with natural ingredients. It kept my son’s skin soft and protected, preventing dry patches common during the first months of life. This evolved into creating skincare made with plant-based ingredients as the star and always prioritizing safety. Read their story
