About The Wine Steward LLC

Marge McConville started The Wine Steward LLC while working for a restaurant in the Chicago area. While presenting bottles of wine to customers for consumption, she created her first product which held the cork (or screwcap) to the bottle and also served as a drip collar. Not knowing that she was later serving a buyer for a major retailer, she joked about her desire to create a line of wine accessories that would be useful, yet fun. Within a month, her first product was on the shelf at 16 locations in Chicago. Marge soon found her niche with other wine accessory ideas geared towards the gift and souvenir industry. Her art background helped to design and build displays that are unique and functional in selling her products.
