In 1920, the first heat-resistant household glass was developed in Jena – based on the borosilicate glass by Otto Schott, which became known for its exceptional temperature resistance and chemical and physical resilience. We have continued this tradition since 2005, partly with the original Jena shapes. Trendglas JENA is part of the Csonkagroup in Sopron (Hungary), one of the most efficient processors of borosilicate glass in Europe.
