PREPARATION We always use seasonal fruit, at the right level of ripeness. We clean the figs and cook them over low heat, adding sugar and lemon juice. We bring the mixture to a boil and let it thicken (without the use of thickeners), to obtain a product with a non-gelatinous but velvety consistency. PAIRINGS It can be enjoyed for breakfast or a snack, on rusks or bread, as is traditional. Perfect for filling cakes, tarts, crepes, cookies, brioches, croissants, or for decorating cheesecakes, desserts, and ice creams. Also excellent paired with cheese. EXPIRATION Preferably consume within 3 years from packaging. Once opened, store in the fridge for a maximum of 7 days.
