These frames are made from the root of the bamboo and are very unique in looks. When a bamboo tree falls and perishes, the roots are harvested and are straightened and kiln dried to retain its shape. By its very nature, the roots are all different in terms of shade and also the nodes ( the lines that are an inherent property of bamboo) so basically, no two picture frames will look exactly alike and no frame will be entirely symmetrical.
