An ancient resin from biblical times, once as expensive as gold. The gum is chewed in Somalia as a natural chewing gum. Anecdotally used for toothache, anxiety, asthma, bronchitis, scars, and stretch marks. Ideal for mature and or oily skin types. Excellent for face products particularly around the eye region due to their tonic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and astringent properties. Blends well with chamomile, lavender, geranium, neroli, jasmine, and rose. Pure essential oils are highly concentrated liquid extracts from plants.
