I hand make each tassel using fabric from recylced Indian Saris. These beautiful fibers are made from repurposed sari scraps, sewn and knotted together by women's collectives in India. The ends of sari garments, which would otherwise be wasted, are recuperated, cut, and connected to create one continuous silk or chiffon ribbon.
