Corn Pads - Urgo Thanks to their hydrocolloid mass, URGO Corn Treatment Pads relieve pain from the first application and eliminate pressure areas from shoe friction. Additionally, the emollient and moisturizing action of glycerin helps to soften and gently remove the corn. Ultra-thin and transparent, they ensure total comfort and discretion for treating corns. Instructions for use: * Ensure that the corn's skin has no lesions, wounds, or redness. * Soak the foot for 10 minutes in warm water. * Clean and disinfect the corn and its surroundings with an antiseptic solution (alcohol-free). Rinse and then dry with a sterile compress or let dry. * Warm the pad between your hands. * Remove the first protective wing without touching the adhesive central part of the pad. * Apply the hydrocolloid pad centered on the corn; the corn must be completely covered by the pad. * Remove the second protection by smoothing and pressing the edges of the pad to increase adhesion. Replace the pad according to instructions, on average once a day, or when it starts to wrinkle. The pad should not remain in place for more than 2 to 3 days, after which it should be removed if it has not detached by itself. * Once the pad is detached, remove/scrape the excess softened skin on the surface of the corn and apply a new pad if necessary, according to the instructions for use. Indications/precautions: * Hydrocolloid pad, non-sterile, indicated for the treatment of corns. * Do not cut. Single use, do not reposition a pad once applied, do not reuse the same pad (risk of poor hygiene and non-adhesion). * Do not apply on damaged skin or a wound (risk of infection). * Do not apply a pad or remove the already applied pad and consult a doctor or podiatrist: – in case of worsening of the corn or no improvement within 6 days of treatment, – in case of signs of infection (redness, pain, heat, swelling around the wound, pus, etc.) * It is recommended that diabetic patients use hydrocolloid pads only under medical or nursing supervision. * In case of sticky hydrocolloid residues on the skin, soaking in water is recommended: the adhesive will swell, lose adhesiveness, and detach. * Do not use these pads for more than 30 consecutive days. * Store the pads in their original box. * The product should be applied by an adult for children under 16 years old. Adverse effects: * This pad may cause skin reactions such as redness, irritation, dermatitis, or pain upon removal. To minimize any risk of infection or skin reactions: * Strictly follow the instructions for use. Do not reuse a used pad. * Do not apply to the eyes or mucous membranes. Do not use after the expiration date. Do not use a damaged product.
