Based on the glossy black and red "urushi", "Gin-Sabi" painting that looks like metal stands out and creates a special feeling that cannot be found anywhere else. This sake bottle showcases our 190-year old historic techniques in lacquerware. It offers a modern design that beautifully presents the hues of lacquer and the texture of wood. This product is the special bottle for drinking Japanese sake. Sake bottles made of wood are rarely seen because of the difficulty in making the shape, but they are lighter and easier to hold than ceramic bottles.
