I created these food illustrations as an homage to my favorite dessert and bakery items from Asian bakeries in the Bay Area and travels in Taiwan, including egg tarts, sesame balls, pineapple buns, halo halo, boba milk tea, pandan cake, pineapple cakes, mochi, and chocolate swiss rolls. This piece is inspired by Wayne Thiebaud's "Cakes & Pies". This is a giclee print of a digital illustration, printed on smooth archival matter paper, 230 gsm.
