What makes our Uncommon Ketchup different from what's out there? How much time have you got? We start by briefly wild-fermenting fresh plum and grape tomatoes to bring out their natural umami qualities. We then add raisins, date syrup, tamarind, ginger, garlic, onions and spices to make a sweet, tangy, irresistibly complex flavor. And then we whizz it all up at high speed to thicken naturally and develop a velvety consistency without additives. The result is a ketchup that pleases palates of all sorts, from gourmets to fussy eaters, young kids to grownups from all walks of life. It's not trying to replace The Big Brand, it's just a new, completely delicious way to enjoy many of our favorite foods. And the fact that it has no sugar, no preservatives and no artificial anything is just a bonus. And yes, it's supposed to be brown!
