It replicates the mechanical (viscoelastic) properties of a healthy human plantar cushion. * Its thickness of 2.2 mm is sufficient to effectively distribute loads without creating instabilities. * Its long lifespan allows integration into orthotics (several months). * Low loss of thickness and mechanical characteristics over time compared to foam. * Covered with fabric on both sides, Epithelium 26® is easy to implement (cut with scissors, Neoprene® gluing, or heat bonding). DESCRIPTION Sheet made of a 2.2mm thick pressure-distributing silicone gel encased between two polyamide/elastane fabrics. USAGE Pressure-distributing material to be integrated into plantar orthotics (cannot be sanded). ADVANTAGES Sheets made of EPITHELIUM 26® are non-adhesive, biocompatible silicone gel devices doubly bonded to a fabric. They are flexible and elastic. EPITHELIUM 26® is a durable gel that allows for the distribution of plantar pressures mainly under the forefoot. This silicone gel does not lose its mechanical properties over time. IMPLEMENTATION - Cut the module to the desired shape by beveling the edges with scissors. - Glue it to the desired area of your plantar orthotic with Neoprene glue or by heat bonding on resin. - Apply your covering on the insole. COMPOSITION 84% silicone, 16% polyamide/elastane fabric. MAINTENANCE The material is machine washable at 30°C. PRESENTATION 20 cm x 20 cm sheet.
