Measuring about 5"x1.5", these blanks are cut from mid-weight natural cowhide leather. All leather is between 1.5mm and 2mm thick and has a softer texture than tooling leather, which makes it a perfect base for beadwork, cold connections and other forms of embellishment. They are die-cut by hand out of industry scrap leather (primarily upholstery), reducing waste and giving these smaller pieces a chance to shine in your artistic or small-scale production applications. All leather is good quality; only the size of the pieces kept them from being used in those applications. They can be used for attractive key fobs, as well as ends, connectors and decorative elements in a wide range of products. Each pack of 25 blanks will have a variety of colors and textures for endless variety in your work. We can't ensure exact colors or finishes in your pack, but contact us if you need a color group that's not already offered -- we are able to accommodate most requests.
