Taiwan Milk Oolong tea, also known as "Nai Xiang Oolong" (奶香乌龙), is an exceptional oolong tea originating from the island of Taiwan. This tea is distinguished by its milky and creamy aroma, making it a unique tasting experience. Milk Oolong 奶香乌龙 originates from the Jinxuan tea cultivar (金萱), developed in Taiwan. Jinxuan, also known as Taiwanese No. 12 or Er Qian Zai, is a cultivar specific to Taiwan, resulting from the crossbreeding of the Tai Nung No. 8 and Qing Xin varieties. This cultivar is characterized by thick, fleshy, and shiny leaves, as well as strong cold resistance. The production of Milk Oolong 奶香乌龙 follows a process similar to that of other oolong teas, with steps such as sun withering, wilting, rolling, and milk scenting.
