Tankards were widely used in northern Europe (especially Scandinavia, Germany, and the British Isles) and in colonial America from the second half of the 16th century until the end of the 18th century. They could be found in homes and taverns holding beverages of all kinds. This item is food safe but not re-enactor authentic and holds approximately one pint of liquid. -5-1/4" tall, 4" diameter
