You can either put them straight over the head or if your Dog doesn't like having things over the head don't worry as the Fleeces have a Zip that goes from the top to the bottom so they can easily step in! Size Guide Please see the size chart in the photos. The Teddy Fleeces come in size Small - 6XL. (They also come in 3 Dachshund Specific Sizes; Small, Medium & Large). These have longer backs and shorter legs. Using a tape measure, firstly measure around the neck where the collar would sit. Then measure the chest from the widest part of your Dogs ribcage, which is just behind the front legs. Then measure the length which is the distance between the lower neck and the top of the tail. If they are in-between sizes then we would recommend sizing up.
