PREPARATION We always use seasonal fruit, at the right level of ripeness. We wash the pears and cook them over low heat, adding sugar and saffron threads. We bring the mixture to a boil and let it thicken (without the use of thickeners), in order to obtain a product with a non-gelatinous but velvety consistency. PAIRINGS It can be enjoyed for breakfast or a snack, on toast or bread, as is traditional. Perfect for filling cakes, tarts, crepes, cookies, brioches, croissants, or for decorating cheesecakes, desserts, and ice creams. Also excellent paired with cheese. EXPIRATION Preferably consume within 3 years from packaging. Once opened, store in the fridge for a maximum of 7 days.
