Praising a century old zen monks’ heritage, the leaves of the alpine Camellia sinensis trees of the mountains of Makizono, Kagoshima, are conventionally bound with Matcha and puffed, golden-brown rice. The traditional, curated infusion reveals a bright, citric green liquor with toasted savoury aroma and nutty intonations.
