About the Artisans: Handmade by remote coastal women in Fiji's Ra province as part of our Shelter from the Storm collection, made with salvaged debris and stones post-natural disaster. This product launched in 2016 following a category five storm that decimated many parts of Fiji, including the Ra coastline. We worked alongside women in these communities to develop products made with their leftover materials, including debris and stones. Today, this product still provides an important opportunity for earning and building economic resilience for the women in this region who make the stone sets.
