Our hand built service ware is created one at a time on handmade molds. Each clay slab is paddled on the mold, creating a beautifully organic shape and feel. This small bowl is perfect for bar snacks, a serving of ice cream, or to serve individual desserts or bread. The Yellow Salt glaze layers and breaks against the iron in the clay, creating a visually appetizing background for food that, and the raw, unglazed rim perfectly frames delicious creations. This design is created with red stoneware and glazed in Yellow Salt glaze with a raw clay rim. Size is approximately 4" round x 1.5" high. This bowl is also available as part of a 3-piece set. Food safe clay and glaze, and safe for home or professional dishwashers. Kindly note: the piece you receive will not be identical to the one(s) pictured. Each item is individually handmade, so subtle variations in shape, size, and glaze results are to be expected. These variations are a celebrated part of the handmade process.
