Tea tree oil is steam distilled from the leaves and twigs of the Melaleuca alternifolia that is native to Australia. It is widely used in low concentrations in skincare and cosmetics and has been claimed to be useful in treating dandruff, acne, lice, herpes and other medical conditions. It is known to have anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties, as well as contain antioxidants. Im giving a 3 start for quality, when I walked into the post office the entire building reeked of mixed essential oils! THE WHOLE BUILDING! That being said the oils are good but the delivery service obviously tipped it cause they leaked everywhere. When the issue was brought to the attention of the brand they read my messages and never responded which was quite disappointing.
