Magnificent, stately ginger jar reflects years of design and production skill from Thai artists. This impressive jar has an elaborate hand painted design focused on the flower-filled central circles, and some have a vertical base decoration influenced by ancient Chinese characters. Others have a simpler design at the bottom. Hand hammered brass bands add to the beauty of the over all look of this lovely jar. It stands about 16 ins and is 8 ins diameter at the bottom and 9 ins at the fattest point. Often bought as pairs for a truly stunning mantle or side board. As all our porcelains, this lovely jar is hand painted so please expect designs to vary a bit. Sometimes the knob on top is rounded. Other times, it's pointed. We don't have any control over this but both are lovely.
