This top-quality Kenya AA is from the Giathugu factory which is located on the mountainous slopes of Nyeri, near Mt. Kenya. Giathugu is a member of the Rugi Farmers Cooperative. It employs 639 men and women, and farms around 100 hectares. Our coffee is fermented and fully washed for up to 48 hours with fresh water from the nearby Kagumo River before being sun-dried. Coffees in this lot were grown at 2000 m above sea level and are selected from SL34, SL28, and Ruiru 11 varieties.
