Description
The Wooden Mallah Beads, also known as Japa Mala or Mala, can be worn as a stacked bracelet, a long necklace or can be used as an aid to prayer and meditation. It is a symbol of the beauty and sacredness of your meditation practice. The mala consists of 108 individual beads, a symbolic number in Buddhism, Hinduism, and yogic tradition. These are counted one by one, beginning and ending with the Guru bead, whilst chanting a mantra (usually “Om mani padme hum”) and counting breaths taken during meditation. I was very pleased with the products I ordered and they were sent quickly. The shipping was waived because of the summer Faire Market, thankfully, because I think the size of the yoga mats increased the shipping cost. My only complaint is because the packaging is environmentally conscious, it is fairly fragile. The heavier items in my shipment battered several of the smaller/lightweight products so the packages looked “aged” (scratched/dented) and not like brand new products.
