Maine Grains Pearled Farro is made from spelt berries that have passed through our pearler (‘farro perlato’, as the Italians would call it) which removes a small portion of the seed’s outer bran layer. This dramatically reduces cooking time while retaining the rich flavor and nutrition that make whole grains so desirable.
