About Woodsbury

Our journey started when Matthew, the co-founder, planned his proposal. After purchasing the ring and preparing for the day, he realised all the work would be undone by using the large jewellers ring box. So Matthew made and proposed with a thinner wooden engagement box. From then Woodsbury was created, Matthew partnered with Jack to refine and create an engagement box that would help reinvent the timeless tradition of proposing. After multiple drawings and tests using different materials and shapes, the Woodsbury engagement box was perfected. All Woodsbury boxes are still made this way, by hand, in our workshop in Sydney.Read their story
