Bell-View Brand Foods is a fourth-generation, family owned and operated business presently located in Penn, Pennsylvania. Our company was founded in 1930 by Robert Lee, Edward Thompson, and Hugh Fawcett. Our first home was in Pittsburgh’s Northside neighborhood where we went to markets, corner stores, and even mom & pop shops alike selling our products by the unit, half-case, full case, or even by the barrel. Bell-View quickly became a staple across the region offering a variety of products to stock one’s cabinets and refrigerators. Over the years, Bell-View has expanded the brand’s product line entirely and we now offer pickles, peppers, olives, preserves, and jellies among other products as well. We at Bell-View have worked tirelessly to create new and unique items for our customers. One of those innovations includes Elderberry Jelly. Bell-View was one of the first to commercially pack elderberry jelly. We often receive notes from loyal customers and Pittsburgh natives telling us about how their grandmothers had a special elderberry jelly recipe where they would be sent out to pick the berries! Our recipe has similar origins! Another fun fact about our brand is that we were one of the first to commercially pack ‘fresh pack’ peppers. At Bell-View, not only do we offer products that folks love but we also have excellent customer service skills that we practice on a day to day basis to help assist our customers.
