Ruukin Kehräämö's high-quality and luxurious products are made from the best 100% Royal Alpaca alpaca fiber on the market. This 18 micron thick fiber allows the production of a very thin, uniform and non-tangled yarn. Alpaca fiber is a non-greasy, hollow fiber with particularly good thermoregulatory properties. Therefore, alpaca knits and woven alpaca fabrics are warm, breathable and lightweight. Alpaca fiber repels water and dirt and does not take odors. Easy-care products are best cleaned by taking them outside to air out, although if necessary, the products can also be washed by hand or in the washing machine with a wool washing program. We don’t spoil top quality fiber with chemicals, we rely on nature’s own color chart. All the shades we use are natural shades of alpaca wool. Products are designed in Finland.
