The adventure of La Rose et le Peacock - Paris took shape with the discovery of India and its wonders of fabrics and colors. The designer, Dinorah Bötsch Brault, textile designer, is passionate about fabrics and particularly of 18th century Indian women, these cotton fabrics that were printed with a wooden stamp. A trip to India enabled her to make possible a project to which she wanted to give meaning, with the meeting with NGOs, to build a solidarity approach, with handmade and tradition as values, as well as ethical production. The Rose and the Peacock home textiles are printed with the magnificent ancestral technique of blockprint, in India, in partnership with these NGOs. Table linen, cushion covers, accessories and lampshades are offered. The lampshades are made in France in a labor assistance establishment.
