About Acorn Kids

Hello, I am Fiona the founder of Acorn Kids. We are a family owned business based in Melbourne, Australia. I started Acorn in 2009 after an elusive search for an ethical and cute beanie for my daughter. We have a strong focus on ethical production and are proud to support a womens' collective who hand-knit much of our winter range. I also passionately believe we should shop local and support other small businesses whenever possible. We work with a local Melbourne designer Jacinta Weir to create the unique prints for our summer ranges each season. We are also so blessed to have so many wonderful stores who stock Acorn, these amazing businesses all curate unique and beautiful offerings for their local communities and we are proud to work with them.
