About Whenua Honey

Laney is a Mum, Teacher, Beekeeper and Co-Founder of Whenua Honey, an Indigenous Maori Manuka Honey Brand, based in a remote rural location in the East Coast of North Island New Zealand, a town called Opotiki. We started this journey because we saw an opportunity for our Måori whånau who still work, live and play on the land where we source our honey to generate passive income which addresses some of the inequalities that come with remote rural living. At the same time we can bring to our customers our ethically sourced, chemical free range of pure New Zealand raw Månuka Honey as a natural health solution to enhance our well-being and beauty.Read their story
