An inspiring idea turned meaningful movement, Happy Hoos shines as a beacon of positivity and hope in a world in need of bold creativity and inspiration. As a nurse and a woman who found herself in the middle of the chaos of the pandemic, our founder, Cris, found meditative journaling as an antidote to the overwhelm. Meditative journaling became a reflective practice that combines the arts of writing and mindfulness. Writing soon became a welcome sanctuary—a sacred space where she could embark on a journey inward. With every word, she could mindfully explore and unravel her thoughts, emotions, and experiences. The simple act of putting pen to paper transformed into a path of solace, healing, and authentic self-reflection. Journaling led Cris to cultivate a more positive mindset, a grateful heart, and a joyful existence. Feeling a calling to help others experience the same profound transformation in their journeys of self-discovery, she was driven to found Happy Hoos; a platform to provide tools for encouraging personal growth, nurturing gratitude, and finding joy through the seasons - winter, spring, summer and fall.
