Wangi was born from founder Marianne Foo’s journey as a working mom navigating stress, autoimmune illness, and burnout. A pivotal moment came when her doctor asked, “How stressed are you?”—prompting her to reflect deeply. She realized her shower was the only peaceful moment in her day. Seeking to turn it into a true ritual of self-care, she became a Certified Aromatherapist and began crafting natural blends. Frustrated by the lack of clean, luxurious, chemical-free products, she created Wangi: plant-based aromatherapy shower mists that transform everyday routines into calming, spa-like experiences. “Wangi,” meaning “fragrant” in Malay, reflects Marianne’s cultural roots and love for sensory healing. Built on values of sustainability, wellness, integrity, empowerment, and community, Wangi offers more than scent—it’s a reminder to pause, breathe, and care for oneself.
