Hekiti Candle is a Caribbean-inspired candle brand rooted in culture, memory, and intention. Founded by Fransheska Peña, Hekiti was born from a desire to honor Dominican and Puerto Rican heritage through scent and storytelling. The name Hekiti means “one” in the Taíno language — a reminder of unity, ancestry, and the threads that connect us across time and space. Each candle is hand-poured in Hawai‘i using 100% soy wax, natural wooden wicks, and phthalate-free fragrances. Inspired by the Caribbean — think sun-drenched citrus, tropical florals, and soft woods — every scent is designed to evoke warmth, reflection, and a strong sense of place. More than just a candle, Hekiti invites customers to slow down, connect to something deeper, and experience scent as a soulful ritual.
