Designed by Risha began with a simple love for creating — the kind of creating that starts at your kitchen table and slowly takes over every corner of your home. As a self-taught jewelry artist, I started making earrings and necklaces as a personal form of expression, but soon friends, family, and even strangers began asking for pieces of their own. That's when I realized — people weren't just buying jewelry, they were connecting with something meaningful, handmade, and uniquely them. Each piece I design is made with intention. I work with wood, leather, glass beads, and metals to craft bold yet elegant accessories that feel one-of-a-kind — because they are. No two are exactly the same, and that's what I love most about what I do. My best-selling necklaces, for example, are made in small batches and often sell out quickly — a reminder that beauty is fleeting, and handmade art is something to treasure. What started as a hobby has grown into a full-time passion. Today, you can find Designed by Risha on Etsy, at vendor markets across NYC, and (hopefully) soon in select boutiques. I’m proud to say I design, make, and package everything myself, ensuring each order is infused with care and artistry. I create for the bold, the free-spirited, the ones who know that handmade means heart-made.
