About Daphne Rae Creative

Daphne has been creating for as long as she can remember. Always “the art kid,” she spent her childhood drawing, painting, and experimenting with sewing, knitting, pottery, and more. She was even voted "Most Artistic" in her eighth-grade yearbook. In college, Daphne studied entrepreneurship at the University of Delaware while taking as many art electives as possible. After graduation, she worked in software sales for five years, keeping her creative spark alive by painting and exploring new crafts at home. Feeling a restlessness that led to insomnia and anxiety, Daphne left her corporate career to follow her true passion. Today, her art reflects that leap of faith, embracing bold color and joyful creativity. Daphne paints only from her own reference photos, ensuring each piece is uniquely hers. She scans her originals to create prints, occasionally outsourcing to a woman-owned printer in Waltham, MA. Her greeting cards are also produced locally, and she personally packages all prints and cards with care. Her work is available as original paintings, fine art prints, and greeting cards, and she also takes commissions to create custom pieces that bring her lively perspective to personal spaces.Read their story
