About Steve Weitz Art

Creative Potter (Elise) and Steve Weitz Art Well, you could say our brand is a union of sorts based on our marriage of forty-seven years. Two artists living together, going our separate ways each day, into our studios, creating our work. A ceramicist creating handmade functional pottery and a drawer/painter/sculptor. Our works are created in Denver, Colorado - our customers are always welcome to make an appointment for studio tours and to discuss commission work. Our work is in numerous B&M stores around Colorado, and popping up for shows throughout the year. We love hearing each other's feedback as well as from our customers. We probably don't spend enough time on social media promoting our work, we hardly get out of the studios; when we do play hooky from our daily ritual, you'll find us playing with our grandchildren. Elise was a teacher of English Language Learners in a public school system with an Art Education background while Steve obtained his Master of Fine Arts, taught college a few years, was a New York City Ironworker welder and is now back to creating artwork.
