Karla’s lifelong love for pop up books has led her to start Pop Up Occasions UK, where she and her team make amazing pop up and 3D cards. Her fascination with the mechanics behind them started when she was a child - taking apart those delicate pages just so that she could see how they work. For some reason, it always felt like there was something special about paper; maybe because of its ability to create an illusion of depth through nothing but one simple sheet. When it was time for her own wedding, the idea struck her to have pop up invites. There was only one problem - there were no available suppliers that could offer and custom make what she had in mind. So she thought to make her own. Everyone loved how unique they were and as they say, the rest is history. This was the beginning of her incredible story and journey with creating paper magic.
